She also has an MFA Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. White-Johnson currently serves as a Guest Professor of the University of Minnesota School of Design as part of the Design Justice Initiative. She was previously an assistant professor of Visual Communication and Digital Media Arts and Bowie State University.
