Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone (pronounced [di:pIka p@dUko:ne or [pa:dUkoborn 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Hindi films. The awards she has received include three Filmfare Awards. She is among India's top-paid actors. Her name is listed in lists of some of America's top people; Time named her one among the 100 most influential people around the globe in 2018. In 2018, she received with the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone was a daughter of tennis champ Prakash Padukone. Padukone was born and raised in Bangalore. She competed in national badminton championships while a teenager. She gave up the sport for the sake of becoming a model. Then, she was receiving requests to perform in films and her first acting role was as Aishwarya the Kannada title character. Padukone later played the dual character as Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007) Her debut Bollywood release. This film won Padukone her the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut.
