
DeBerry began her career as an actor in 2001, when she was a flower child for The Way She Moves. The actress also appeared in It's a Miracle as Brittany during the same time. DeBerry performed the role of young Alex in the show I'm with Her, which aired in 2003. The first film she acted in as a theatrical actor is Love and Mary, in which she performed the role of Sara Pedersen. Following that, she kept her career on the television and booked the series What's the Word? The show featured her on two episodes. DeBerry became famous due to her role as VP in the television show True Jackson in the year 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Cammy (a friend to Pinky, Jennette McCurdy). DeBerry played Mindy in the title role, which was the female lead character in the debut feature length film Lazer Team.
